Frequently I remind Singers and
Instrumentalists of what I call “the four “P’s.” As Worship Leaders, we
are to:
- Praise the Lord; Our Lord is the only one Worthy to be Praised and Exalted; Exodus 15:2
- Proclaim the Gospel; (Preaching through the music to see lost Saved, Redeemed, Revived and God Focused) Psalm 71:16
- Prepare the Church to receive God’s preached Word; 1 Corinthians 1:21b
- Provide opportunities for God’s people to use their talents in serving the Lord; Psalm 30:4
